What's Left After Rights?
The Bill of Rights was intended to protect individual liberties, "but it opened the door to hate speech, harassment of abortion clinics, Citizens United, proliferation of guns, etc." Mike Berkowitz will offer mini-lectures and video clips to help the class decide: "Can too many rights make a wrong?"

Watercolor Painting: Making Water Behave (8 sessions)

While class members can do their own thing, demonstrations can be given and setups provided. Basic equipment: an ordinary pencil (HB), kneaded eraser, basic watercolor paints, a brush (#10 round or larger) and a block or pad of good paper.
